  1. SHAREWARE NOTICE
  2.     If you downloaded this font as
  3. shareware or received it as part of a 
  4. shareware package you are obligated to
  5. register the font with Ragnarok if you
  6. wish to continue to use it after a 30 day
  7. trial period.
  8.     To just register the font you send
  9. us $5 per font and once that is done, the
  10. version you have is registered and may be
  11. used indefinitely.
  12.     However, it's a much better idea to
  13. actually purchase a copy of the Scriptorium
  14. Font Library disk which features this font.
  15. For $15 per disk you can get a disk with 10
  16. or more fonts like this one, but with the
  17. complete character sets and with no further
  18. obligation to register them as shareware, 
  19. plus the option to receive regular updates
  20. for a small fee.
  21.     When you order, just mention
  22. which font you have and we'll see that
  23. you get the correct disk.

  25. THE SCRIPTORIUM FONT LIBRARY
  26.     The Scriptorium Font Library is a 
  27. collection of fonts designed by Dave 
  28. Nalle of Ragnarok Games for use in 
  29. their publications.  These fonts have 
  30. just been made available by mailorder 
  31. or as shareware from Ragnarok.
  32.     Provided here is an up to date 
  33. listing of all the font disks available at 
  34. this time.  Each disk includes at least 
  35. 10 fonts, which are fully registered 
  36. when you purchase the disk.

  38. SFL-1001: Font Sampler I
  39.     This disk includes 3 text fonts, 3 
  40. calligraphic fonts, 3 display fonts and 
  41. 3 specialty fonts taken from our 
  42. original series of font disks.  It 
  43. includes our very popular Taranis font 
  44. as well as the new Fabliaux font, the 
  45. medieval calligraphic fonts Bastarda 
  46. and Courthand, plus two fonts from 
  47. the Ysgarth role-playing game and the 
  48. uniquely mystical Goetic font based 
  49. on 18th century magical scripts.  $15.

  52. SFL-1002: Font Sampler II
  53.     This contains a new variety 
  54. selection of fonts, including text, 
  55. display, and calligraphic fonts
  56. which are taken mostly from our second 
  57. series of font disks.  $15.  Update $5.

  59. SFL-2001: Text Fonts
  60.     This contains 10 unique serif and 
  61. sans-serif fonts which meet the high 
  62. resolution demands of all text uses.  
  63. The collection includes some elegant 
  64. traditional fonts (both serif and sans-
  65. serif) like our Tancred and Palomides 
  66. fonts, plus some very unusual 
  67. offerings like the Kelmscott font based 
  68. on William Morris' Troy font from the 
  69. Kelmscott edition of Chaucer's works.

  72. SFL-2002: Text Fonts II
  73.     This collection includes ten great
  74. new text fonts, including 5 serif and 5
  75. sans serif fonts.  It will be available in
  76. the summer of 1993 for $15.  Update $5.

  78. SFL-3001: Display Fonts
  79.     This disk features 10 attractive 
  80. display fonts, including several art 
  81. nouveau and medieval styles, plus a 
  82. couple of unusual special use fonts.  
  83. Our favorites are the Starfield font, 
  84. which looks like a scattered field of 
  85. stars, the Buccaneer font, drawn from 
  86. 17th century wanted posters and the 
  87. Ariosto and Elysian fonts based on 
  88. hand drawn fonts of the Munich 
  89. Jugendstil movement of the 1890s.  
  90. Because these are display fonts they 
  91. may not all include both upper and 
  92. lower case letters, but they include all 
  93. characters which are available and we 
  94. will expand the character sets as we 
  95. continue to work with them.  $15.

  98. SFL-3002: More Display Fonts
  99.     This disk features 10 new display 
  100. fonts, including a number of 
  101. interesting renaissance styles, plus 
  102. some early modern book styles and 
  103. decorative initials.  Among the fonts
  104. featured are Bucephalus, Beaumarchais,
  105. Oberon, Titania and Cymbeline.  This disk
  106. has just been released.  $15.  Update $5.
  107.  
  108. SFL-4001: Calligraphic Fonts
  109.     This disk includes a variety of 
  110. calligraphic fonts, including several 
  111. Celtic-style fonts, fonts based on 
  112. medieval and renaissance calligraphy 
  113. and calligraphy from several 19th 
  114. century art nouveau designers.   
  115. Because these are based on genuine 
  116. calligraphy they may not include all 
  117. the characters you may expect and 
  118. may include specialty characters or 
  119. strange alternate forms for some 
  120. letters.  $15.  Update $5.

  122. SFL-4002: More Calligraphic Fonts
  123.     This disk includes a variety of 
  124. medieval English, French and Italian 
  125. lettering styles plus several Eastern 
  126. European styles.  It includes the medieval
  127. fonts Burgundian, Franconian and 
  128. Theodoric, the Roman style fonts
  129. Publius, Ravenna and Cicero, plus a style
  130. based on the calligraphy of the artist
  131. Howard Pyle.  It will be available in 
  132. the Summer of '93. $15.  Update $5.

  134. SFL-5001: Specialty Fonts
  135.     A collection of fonts for 
  136. languages which don't use the English 
  137. alphabet, including both obscure real 
  138. world and historical languages and 
  139. role-playing game world languages.  
  140. Check out the Coptic and Futhark 
  141. fonts if you want something really 
  142. different.  Oh, and did you say you 
  143. were going mad because you couldn't 
  144. decorate your computer-generated 
  145. icons without Church Slavonic?  Well, 
  146. try Patriarch.  It reads in English, but 
  147. looks like Church Slavonic.  $15.

  150. SFL - 6001: Decorative Fonts
  151.     A special assortment of art fonts 
  152. where each letter is a decorative initial 
  153. or small picture.  It includes several 
  154. illuminated manuscript alphabets, a 
  155. set of Arthurian miniatures, a 
  156. collection of map decorations, a font 
  157. of art nouveau faces, a collection of
  158. heraldic designs and some Art 
  159. Nouveau floral motifs.  This disk is not 
  160. yet available, but it can be advance 
  161. ordered for $15.

  163. UPDATE POLICY
  164.     Each of our font disks is updated 
  165. with new versions at least once every 
  166. three months, with updates being 
  167. released on the first of January, April, 
  168. July and October.  If you send in your 
  169. original disk and $5 we will update 
  170. you with the latest versions of all the 
  171. fonts on that disk.  Most of our fonts 
  172. are brand new, so expect pretty 
  173. substantial changes with some of the 
  174. updates over the next year or so.

  176. SHAREWARE NOTE
  177.     Support shareware.  If you see 
  178. our disks being circulated as 
  179. unregistered copies (without our 
  180. shareware notice), let us know...or let 
  181. the culprit know that you dont' 
  182. approve.  These fonts are too damned 
  183. cheap for anyone NOT to pay their 
  184. shareware fee or order them on disk.

  191. order YOU MUST SPECIFY YOUR COMPUTER
  192. TYPE.  If you fail to specify the type of
  193. computer you have and receive the wrong
  194. type of disk you will be assessed a $5 
  195. replacement charge for a new disk in 
  196. the proper format.
